    • Salary: €900 – €1,000 per month.
    • Age: 20–55 years.
    • Food: Provided by the employer.
    • Accommodation: Provided by the employer.
    • Job Location: Available in hotels.
    • Additional Benefits: Residence permit application submitted after one month of employment.
  • Key Responsibilities :
    • Clean and Prepare Guest Rooms – Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to hotel standards, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
    • Replace bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries, beverages, and other guest amenities as required.
    • Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways, lounges, and other public areas to ensure they remain clean and presentable at all times.
    • Follow hotel policies, occupational health and safety regulations, and hygiene procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
    • Promptly report maintenance issues, damaged furnishings, safety hazards, and any lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
    • Respond politely to guest requests, respect guest privacy, and coordinate with the front office and maintenance departments to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.

    Please note that the following government-related fees and procedures apply only to candidates applying for Housekeeping positions in Malta.

    1. Government Labour Processing Fee
    • Amount: €680
    • Payable By: Candidate
    • Payment Recipient: Relevant Maltese Government authority (as instructed by the employer).
    Payment Procedure
    • After submitting the required documents and the initial payment to Systec Communications Inc. (SCI), the employer will provide a secure online payment portal.
    • The candidate must complete the payment personally using a debit or credit card.
    • The payment must be made in the candidate's own name. Third-party payments may be rejected and could delay or affect the application.
    2. Mandatory Online Skills Assessment
    • Estimated Fee: €300–€500
    • Payable By: Candidate
    • Payment Recipient: Relevant Maltese Government authority (as instructed by the employer).
    Assessment Procedure
    • After the work permit is issued (or at the stage advised by the employer), the candidate must complete a mandatory online skills assessment.
    • The employer will provide the official payment and examination portal.
    • The assessment fee must be paid directly by the candidate using a debit or credit card.
    • Payment must be made under the candidate's own name. Payments made in another person's name may not be accepted.
    Assessment Method
    • The assessment is conducted entirely online.
    • No physical attendance or practical examination is required.
    • The assessment consists of an online question-and-answer (Q&A) evaluation relevant to the position.
    Refund Policy
    • All fees paid directly to the relevant Maltese Government authority are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the application or assessment outcome.
    • If the candidate does not pass the online skills assessment, they may retake it by paying the applicable assessment fee again.
    • If the candidate withdraws after an unsuccessful assessment, SCI will refund the eligible balance of the Stage 1 payment after deducting:
      • Any official fees already incurred on the candidate's behalf.
      • SCI's administrative/service charge of €50.
    • Government fees paid directly to the Maltese Government authority remain non-refundable under all circumstances.
